Refund Policy

Effective: May 2026  ·  Last updated: May 2026
Governing law: Wyoming  ·  Questions: billing@financeocr.com

This Refund Policy governs all fees paid to Sifa Tech LLC ("FinanceOCR," "we," "us") for the FinanceOCR Pre-Sign-Off Structural Diagnostic and related engagement services. We stand behind our work. If we don't deliver, we make it right.

Our commitment: Every FinanceOCR engagement includes a 30-day workpaper assurance. If the deliverables we produce do not meet the specifications set out in your engagement letter, we will either correct them at no charge or issue a full refund — your choice.
Section 01
Overview

FinanceOCR charges for professional diagnostic engagements — the delivery of structured workpaper outputs, Export Exception Summaries, and supporting certificates tied to specific file sets and entity scopes. Because our deliverables are time-bound professional outputs (not recurring software subscriptions), our refund model is engagement-based rather than subscription-based.

We do not sell access to software on a recurring basis. Each engagement is a defined, scoped service with a fixed fee. Refunds are evaluated in that context.

Section 02
Refund Eligibility

Refund eligibility depends on the nature of the request and when it is made relative to engagement delivery.

Scenario Refund Notes
Request within 30 days — deliverables do not match engagement letter specs Full Refund Or correction at no charge — client's choice
Request within 30 days — deliverables delivered as specified but client no longer needs them Not Eligible Engagement was completed per spec
Request within 7 days of payment — work has not yet started Full Refund Contact billing@financeocr.com immediately
Request after 30 days — any reason Not Eligible Outside assurance window
Demo / verify-only usage (no paid engagement) N/A No charge was made
Partial delivery — some outputs delivered, others not Pro-Rata Evaluated case by case; contact us
Payment processing error / duplicate charge Full Refund Corrected within 2 business days
Section 03
30-Day Workpaper Assurance

Every paid engagement includes a 30-day assurance window beginning on the date we deliver your final diagnostic outputs. During this window:

What "materially incomplete" means: A deliverable is materially incomplete if it is missing required sections per the CF-01–CF-17 taxonomy, contains findings referencing rows that do not exist in the source file, or cannot be opened/read due to a file generation error. Minor formatting differences from samples shown on the website do not constitute material incompleteness.

The assurance does not cover findings that the diagnostic correctly did not flag (i.e., issues that exist in the underlying data but fall outside the 17-check taxonomy), nor does it cover changes in client requirements after delivery.

Section 04
Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refund under any circumstances:

If your file is in an unsupported format, we will notify you within one business day. We do not begin diagnostic processing until format compatibility is confirmed — so in most cases a corrected file can be substituted with no additional charge before work begins.
Section 05
How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund request:

We will acknowledge your request within one business day and provide a resolution (correction plan or refund confirmation) within three business days. For payment processing errors, resolution is typically same-day.

We prefer to correct over refund. If the issue is correctable, we will fix and redeliver your workpapers. If that is not satisfactory, a full refund will be issued. We want you to have what you paid for — not just your money back.
Section 06
Refund Timeline

Once a refund is approved:

Refunds are issued in USD only, to the original payment method where possible. If the original payment method is no longer available, we will coordinate an alternative with you.

Section 07
Contact & Escalation

For all refund matters:

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be subject to binding arbitration in Wyoming under the commercial rules of the American Arbitration Association, as set out in the Terms of Service, Section 9.

We have a straightforward commitment: if we don't deliver what we said we would, you don't pay. Reach out — we will make it right.
